GENERAL

 

What kind of fabric do you carry?

We carry high quality shirtings and fabric.  The majority of our line consists of long staple Egyptian cotton, woven and finished in Japan.  Styles include; End-on-end, tone-on-tone, oxfords, flannels, stretch, voiles, seersuckers - various blends, linens and silk.

They are available in many different patterns such as; classic stripes, satin stripes, ginghams, checks, herringbones, houndstooth, windowpane, tattersall and more.

Be sure to ask for our exclusive broadcloth qualities; Ultimo® (140x2 ply), Corona ® (100x2 ply), and Superba ® (50 singles) lines.


 

Are all of your fabrics in stock?


We are a fully stocked distributor with more than 3.5 million yards of fabric. There are over 2,000 patterns with new patterns added regularly.  We have a great deal of our products pre-rolled into 15 yard “put-ups” for quick packaging and shipping.  Also - When you buy a 15 yard roll, you get a $2.00 per yard discount off of our already low prices! 



Who buys your fabric?


We are a wholesale distributor.  Our clients include custom shirt makers, couture designers, and branded corporations.  Our fabrics are used for shirts, blouses, linings, lounge wear, swim wear, bedding, and more.


 

PLACING ORDERS

 

How can I order sample swatches?

How can I place a fabric order?

If you have never placed an order with us before, just call us at (631)755-1230 and one of our knowledgeable & friendly staff members will get you started.

 

How long will it take to receive my fabric order or swatch request?

Fabric orders are generally shipped within 48 hours pending payment approval.  Various shipping options are available and can be decided upon at the time of your order.  Click on Freight Options for more information.

 

Do you have order minimums?


Yes, we have a 3 yard minimum.



Can you hold fabric yardage until I make a decision?


For much of our fabric line, we offer clients ‘Right of First Refusal’.  You can place items on hold for 30 days and renew the hold if necessary.  If another customer wants to purchase the fabric you have "on hold", you will be offered the fabric first.  At that time, you will have to purchase the fabric immediately, otherwise it will be sold to the other customer.



Can I place a special order?


In many cases special orders can be accommodated - minimums apply and are generally shipped 90 days ex-mill Japan.



Can I come by to see swatches at your warehouse?


Yes, but please call for an appointment.



Can I purchase fabric while visiting your warehouse?


We are not set up as a retail establishment.  However, you can place your order while you are here.  It will be processed promptly, and shipped by the next day.




SHIPPING


How do you ship?

Most orders ship via United Parcel Service.  Generally, trucking companies are used for shipments over 150 pounds in weight.

 

Can I use my own shipping account?


Normally, freight charges are pre-paid and added to your invoice.  If you prefer to use your own account, just advise us at the time of your order.  Click on Freight Options for more information.



Do you ship overseas?


In most cases we can ship overseas.  We can arrange transportation with our freight forwarder, or you can use your own.  Please click Freight Options for more information.


 


PAYMENT


What forms of payment do you take?


We accept Visa®, MasterCard®, and American Express®.  Payment in advance can be made by bank check, money order, or wire transfer (fees apply).  Regular company checks can be used, but must clear into our account before the fabric ships, if you haven't set up open terms with us (see below.)  A Pro forma invoice will be supplied for advance payment orders. Sorry, we do not ship C.O.D.



How can I apply for credit terms?


Upon request we will foward you a credit application via either fax or email.  We can offer open terms upon your acceptance by our accounts receivable insurance company.  We reserve the right to place a credit ceiling on accounts based on our knowledge and past experience.

 


RETURN POLICY


There are no returns on cut fabrics (anything under a 15 yard roll.)  All full factory roll returns must be approved in advance and are subject to a 20% re-stocking fee.

We do our best to ship orders correctly.  If a mistake is made, you must notify customer service within 10 days of  your receipt of the order.   All return orders must be pre-approved and issued an authorization number prior to return.  Your account will be credited promptly upon receipt of returned goods.

In the case of custom length rolls, there will a slight delay in issuing a credit until the goods are passed through our inspection department.
